Grover Dental’s ‘everybody knows your name’ small-town feel established in its first clinic in rural Nova Scotia is very important to them, especially as folks can sometimes feel stressed about visiting their dentist. Since its relocation to Ontario, the goal was to maintain an approachable, friendly look and atmosphere to help their clients feel more at ease. I used these values as inspiration for the design of the logo and in the bright and friendly colour palette. I wanted a clean and professional typeface for the clinic and chose a gorgeous serif font. While working on the concept for this brand, I discovered I could create an abstract smile with a curved red toothbrush. This was an excellent way to give the brand some character and give them that friendly, approachable feel.
